When vintage elegance met football rivalry and a dessert room that could’ve had its own zip code

Q: What made this wedding feel so personal?
It was a blend of tradition, history, and total personality. The ceremony took place at Tampa’s oldest church—a nod to the bride’s family history. A live trumpeter even announced her entrance, just like at her mother’s wedding years ago. That single moment? Gave everyone goosebumps. Then they kept the party going at the Orlo House, where vintage charm met modern flair.

Q: Any fun twists on the traditional wedding party setup?
Yep—and we loved every second of it. The bride had a Man of Honor, and honestly, he crushed it. The entire party reflected the couple’s vibe: joyful, genuine, and zero interest in outdated rules. It was all about honoring their people, their way.

Q: Tell us about that color palette.
It was lush and rich—burgundy, champagne, ivory, gold, touches of soft blue and greenery. It gave a nod to vintage tones while still feeling fresh and vibrant. And we ran with it—from florals to linens to lighting. Even the draping on the staircase and mantles at Orlo was color-coordinated to perfection.

Q: Any standout moments during Cocktail Hour or the Reception?
Plenty! First, Cocktail Hour took place inside the Orlo House, giving guests that historic-home, cozy-yet-classy feel. Then we revealed the ballroom—which had been fully transformed—and jaws dropped. But the real showstopper? The custom seating chart installation. It was big, bold, and totally on-brand.

Q: Did their personalities show up in the details?
Oh yes. The couple’s pup inspired the signature cocktail (with his cartoon face featured on the bar signage—big laughs, zero regrets). And then came the NFL rivalry: she’s a die-hard Bucs fan, he’s Falcons forever. We created custom cocktail stirrers so guests could pick a side—Team Bride or Team Groom. Equal parts playful and petty (in the best way).

Q: Was there any cultural fusion?
Absolutely. The couple’s shared motto—Festejemos Y’all—was brought to life in a custom neon sign. It beautifully merged her Latin roots and his Southern background in one perfect phrase: “Let’s celebrate, y’all!”

Q: What was the post-dinner vibe?
Legendary. Guests were surprised with an entire dessert room. Not a station—a room. Over 30 linear feet of sweets, laid out like the buffet of every dessert-lover’s dreams. And just outside, we turned the courtyard into a full-on cigar lounge. Chill, classy, and the perfect nightcap.

Q: What made this wedding one to remember?
It was heartfelt and historic—but also hilariously fun. Equal parts vintage glam and full-on party. They honored tradition, infused personality, and pulled off the rare combo of elegant and lighthearted. It felt like home, but dressed to the nines.
